Reservation and Check-in:

With Metro Manila placed under Alert Level 2, The Alpha Suites—an accredited Multiple-Use Hotel by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ)—can accommodate the following bookings:

    1. Individuals who opt to or are required to undergo mandatory quarantine, such as, but not limited to, close contacts, repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), returning overseas Filipinos, and foreign nationals allowed entry into the Philippines; 
    2. Health and emergency front-line services personnel who need easy access to their place of work;
    3. Long-staying guests;
    4. Returning residents;
    5. Other Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) who require accommodation pursuant to their official function or duty;
    6. Business guests; 
    7. Leisure guests; and 
    8. Participants in essential meetings and social events, as defined and regulated under the relevant issuance of the DOT and Department of Health (DOH).

Intrazonal and interzonal leisure travel is allowed subject to the latest IATF guidelines. We accept bookings from Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), business guests, leisure guests, and participants in essential meetings and social events, pursuant to DOT AO No. 2021-004-A. We also accept returning overseas Filipinos and foreign nationals allowed entry into the Philippines (quarantine guests).

Prior to arrival date, all guests must submit a clear copy of their passport and/or government issued ID (original copy to be presented upon arrival for verification) and a duly completed health declaration form and registration form. 

For non-quarantine stays: 

Fully vaccinated guests must present their vaccination card (for individuals vaccinated in the Philippines) or their official documentation of full vaccination / International Certificate of Vaccination (for individuals vaccinated in countries/jurisdictions outside the Philippines) upon booking confirmation. 

All guests 18 years and older who are NOT fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after second/final vaccine dose) are required to undergo a same-day COVID-19 Antigen Swab Test at the on-site Aegle Wellness Center and must present a negative result upon check-in.

All guests below 18 years of age are allowed to check in without undergoing a COVID-19 test, regardless of vaccination status.

For quarantine stays:

Guests must submit a copy of their flight itinerary, together with a clear copy of their passport and/or government issued ID and a duly completed health declaration form and registration form prior to arrival date. 

Pursuant to IATF Resolution No. 144-A s. 2021, fully vaccinated guests must carry their vaccination card (for individuals vaccinated in the Philippines) or their official documentation of full vaccination / International Certificate of Vaccination (for individuals vaccinated in countries/jurisdictions outside the Philippines).

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their spouse, parent/s, and/or children vaccinated in the Philippines or abroad, non-OFWs vaccinated in the country or abroad, and foreigners vaccinated in the Philippines must present any of the following: 

  • VaxCertPH digital vaccination certificate
  • Bureau of Quarantine/World Health Organization-issued International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV)
  • National/state digital certificate of the foreign government where they were vaccinated, which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF

Foreigners vaccinated abroad must present any of the following: 

  • WHO-issued ICV
  • National/state digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF

COVID-19 Test Requirement:

No, fully vaccinated guests who are staying in the hotel for non-quarantine purposes are NOT required to undergo a COVID-19 test prior to check-in. A copy of the vaccination card (for individuals vaccinated in the Philippines) or the official documentation of full vaccination / International Certificate of Vaccination (for individuals vaccinated in countries/jurisdictions outside the Philippines) must be provided upon booking confirmation. 

We require the Antigen Swab Test for guests ages 18 and older who are NOT fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after second/final vaccine dose).

Guests who stay for at least 2 nights are entitled to a complimentary Antigen Swab Test at the on-site Aegle Wellness Center.

FDA- and DOH-approved Antigen Swab Tests for Alpha Suites guests will be administered by the medical professionals at the on-site Aegle Wellness Center, located on the 6th floor of the same building.

To ensure the safety of all our guests and employees, we require that the Antigen Swab Tests be conducted at the on-site Aegle Wellness Center.

The Antigen Swab Test is done using a nasopharyngeal swab (via the nose).

Yes, Aegle Wellness Center is a DOH-accredited health facility that complies with all DOH guidelines on COVID-19 testing.

No. In accordance with IATF Resolution No. 133-A s. 2021, hotel guests aged 18 and older who are NOT fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after second/final vaccine dose) must present a negative, same-day Antigen Swab Test result prior to check-in.

Yes, guests are allowed to have fully vaccinated* visitors only in their suites. For security and safety purposes, all visitors must register at the Front Desk, present their vaccination cards, and strictly follow the hotel’s health protocols. All visitors must leave the hotel premises by 10:00 PM. Additional fees apply for overnight stays.

In compliance with the Department of Tourism’s mandated safety measures, make-up room service can only be accommodated once a week. However, change of linens and replenishment of toiletries, bottled water, and coffee pods are available upon request.

Amenities:

There is no breakfast buffet during the community quarantine period, but a la carte breakfast options are available for indoor dining at 60% capacity for fully vaccinated guests and those below 18 years of age regardless of vaccination status, while al fresco dining at the poolside veranda is allowed at 80% capacity regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with the latest IATF guidelines. Menus from our different restaurants are available upon request. Guests may also order food for takeout.

The following restaurants are open: Balesin Islander, Costa del Sol, Mark’s Prime Rib, Mykonos, Sakura, Salathip, Tang Palace, Toscana Ristorante Italiano, The Club Lounge, Health Bar, and Currywurst Meister.

Our specialty restaurants are open for indoor dining at 60% capacity for fully vaccinated guests and those below 18 years of age regardless of vaccination status, while outdoor dining at the poolside veranda is allowed at 80% capacity regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with the latest IATF guidelines. Menus from our different restaurants are available upon request. Guests may also order food for takeout.

All amenities and facilities are open at 60% capacity for fully vaccinated* guests. A maximum of 15 guests are allowed in the swimming pool at a time. Reservations are required. Guests can play non-contact sports regardless of vaccination status. Only fully vaccinated* guests are allowed to play contact sports. Guests below 16 years of age are not allowed to use the gym.

Aegle Wellness Center is open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM to provide bespoke programs and medical services, such as RT-PCR tests, Antigen Swab Tests, Rapid Diagnostic Testing, Immune Boost IV Drip Therapy, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

Here are the specific steps that we are implementing as part of our commitment to keeping The Alpha Suites COVID-free:

  • Continuous monitoring of the guidelines of Philippine and global public health authorities (including the World Health Organization) for health and safety protocol
  • Screening all guests for COVID-19 risks by requiring them to present proof of full vaccination or a negative Antigen Swab Test result from Aegle Wellness Center, as well as a completed health declaration form prior to check-in.
  • Mandatory temperature check, hand sanitization, and use of disinfecting footbath upon entry to hotel
  • Compulsory wearing of face masks by all staff and guests within the building complex, and wearing of disposable gloves by our front-line staff
  • Provision of hand sanitizers at the Front Desk and at our restaurant takeout stations
  • Enforcement of physical distancing in elevators and common areas of the hotel
  • Heightened sanitation of all public areas and surfaces every 30 minutes
  • UV treatment of all suites prior to check-in to ensure the elimination of harmful pathogens on room surfaces
  • Increased frequency of disinfection of all high-touch areas in the suites
  • Application of door seal to ensure that the suite has not been accessed by anyone after sanitation by housekeeping
